If you are anything like me, you are conservative with your coins. If it isn’t on sale, I am not buying it. Word. I like my money. I work hard for it. Parting with it is not sweet sorrow; it’s foolish to give it up if I don’t have to. If I don’t have a coupon I received in the mail or a solicitation I was emailed, I keep my money to myself. I am always looking for clearance items, “the plug”, a promotion, or a sale.
Picture this:
You realize the seasons are changing and inclement weather is likely to be in your near future. You have been on the road with your besties all summer and the tread on your tires is worn. You start pricing tires and those things ain’t cheap. You find four tires that are in your budget, schedule an appointment to have new tires put on your ride. Knowing the dent this going to put in your wallet, you pay for them but at the register, you are told one of your tires is free – no charge, taking roughly 25% off your bill. Are you going to tell the mechanic, “No, no thank you. I’ll pay for that tire.” I bet you wouldn’t.
Welp, that’s exactly how coupons work! They can be lifesavers when you have an unexpected bill or integral tools to help you build wealth and simply save money.
This is the part where I tell you being consumer conscious is not the same is expecting Black owned businesses to give you “the hook up”.
Most companies allocate a part of their budget to attract customers to their business, products, and services. Some of the money is then distributed to customers in the form of money-saving coupons. If you are ignoring sponsored posts on social media or deleting emails from your favorite businesses, you are throwing away discounts! Who would do that? Not you!
This is the part where I tell you that couponing is worth it! Here are 10 Reasons Why You Should Use Black Owned Business Coupons:
1. Coupons are in abundance.
Discounts from Black Owned Businesses are everywhere! But if you are skeptical, you must also be blind. If you are on any social media platform and you make it priority to follow businesses that offer products you use regularly, there is no way you can miss them.
