Voss, Vintage & Charmed is a little shop jam packed with finds from a not to distant past and one-of-a-kind pieces that you aren’t likely to find elsewhere. Vintage & Charmed is located inside the Anacostia Arts Center, a unique space offering arts and culture to the surrounding community, a black box theater, additional retail spaces, art galleries, a café and lounge.

I would describe Vintage & Charmed as the place you will find a few (or a lot) of essential signature pieces to complement your style while being original. Pant suits, shoes, fur coats, casual jackets, broaches, hats, hand bags and home goods that no one will be able to copy.

Nostalgia is what Vintage & Charmed offers the most. Every item is a throwback to the aunties we wanted to be when were little girls, listening to grown folks talk. There was either a dress or a pair of earrings that reminded me of the older women in my life that were my second mothers, play cousins, real cousins and my momma's sassy sister-friends who played cards, wore minks to the grocery store, and sang in the church choir. They just stayed fly and had impeccable style. They were the real Dominique Deveraux, Florida Evans, and Claire Huxtable's in my life.

Vintage & Charmed is the kind of place you can stay in for hours. You may go there looking for the perfect little black dress and stumble upon a discontinued London Fog trench coat in mint condition. Next thing you know, you walk out having purchased the little black dress you were looking for, the trench coat, a string of pearls, a few silk scarves, an over-sized pair of sunglasses, and some heavily ornamented pendants to compliment some sweaters and suit jackets your have at home.

The warm welcome you receive from the owner Lynette is more impressionable than the items for sale. She has a personality that shines bright, embodying the definition of charming. She will help you with no hesitation, styling you for whatever your vintage needs may be. Lynette not only provides affordable hard-to-find fashions, she also offers mentorships, workshops, a merchandise release program, and a lay-a-way plan.

The most popular event is the $30 Fill-a-Bag sale. For $30, savvy shoppers looking for a deal on anything from business, business casual, off the clock and formal attire can fill a bag with clothes, shoes, and accessories.
